Ground elder, creeping buttercup, bindweed (both kinds) and wild bramble on my veggie patch, not to mention the damned couch grass too, most of these weeds come from the next door neighbours who let there weeds run riot and i end up with them.
I was told a year or so ago that marigolds help prevent bindweed growing, something to do with their roots?? I've got the tall wavy kind that get planted with tomatoes, and there was definitely less bindweed where they grew. In that, I've collecter hunderds and hundreds of seeds to use this year. They are going everywhere!
Hi Gunnerbee, and there was i thinking that i was the only one with nice kind consideret neighbors who just loved growing weed and couch grass. But i was thinking they were in the British Olympic weed growing team
