I have just had the most fab holiday in NZ. It is a wonderful country with marvellous scenery. I have posted some photos to my Photobucket account, which I am happy to share.
I have divided the photos into categories: the Botanic Gardens at Christchurch and Dunedin, Puzzling World at Wanaka and all my other NZ photos.

I started in Christchurch, saw the whales at Kaikoura, then drove to the west coast via the thermal springs at Hanmer Springs and watched the sunset in Hokitika on the coast; drove to the glaciers at Franz Joseph where I took a scenic flight, did some quad biking and trekked to the foot of the glacier (all in one day!); drove down the west coast until the road ran out at Jackson Bay then headed inland to Wanaka. The Puzzling World place is great fun - a 2 level maze, loads of weird puzzles, illusions and holograms (not quite sure if the pics work, but you will get the idea). The clock on the clock tower is back to front and nothing is what it seems! Then headed to Queenstown where I did some white water rafting and luged. I then drove to Dunedin for a wedding (the main purpose of my visit). Did have time to do some kayaking, which was fab as the seals came to play with us; also saw the protected yellow-eyed penguin and the gardens. Drank a lot of Speights beer too! Then drove back to Christchurch (not after the beers) and flew home.
Steve, your photos are superb, you must have had a wonderful time. I have never felt the urge to visit NZ but seeing your photos has changed my mind the scenery is wonderful. My Godmother lives there so I might just pay her a visit. Thank you.
Steve. Wonderful photos. I love the scenic views, well love them all really. Thanks for sharing.
Have just been enjoying a slideshow of your photos Steve. Absolutely stunning :) I loved them all, but particularly the sunsets, the mountains and glacier and what about that waterfall - I could go on and on ;D :) :) Thanks for sharing them :)
Glad you enjoyed them. A slideshow is the best way to view them, I reckon! :)

Steve, I missed looking at your garden photos first time round. They are absolutely stunning. It just goes to show you don't have to have a large estate to put on a beautiful show :)
