can any of you clever people out there help me with a number/letter sequence I have been trying to figure out? You know the kind of thing....12 m i a y....12 months in a year.

Celcius is the correct term, centigrade is the value of the unit. ie 100 units of centigrade is the span between freezing and boiling points of water ...

And I thought both were correct - the Centigrade scale being introduced by a bloke called Celsius.
