I have just spent the last 36 hours completely reinstalling a system, after my extremely capable son was unable to extricate from the problem. During the reinstallation, he acquired certain temporary fixes that he installed manually, and we will leave these in place until the official windows patch is released.
Tackling the problem is very complex, my lad said he had never seen such a clever piece of software, it even deleted its own tracks, so you could not see where it arrived.
It was either reinstall or hang around until a release appeared ...
