some of you really should get out on the allotment more, spending all day on here won't get the digging finished ;)
Don't dig! But take your point MT...just a glance at my list for January sowing is (to me) an inspiration in itself:

Cauliiflower Mexico F1
Chervil
Chilli Pepper De Bresse
Sweet Pea Bijou Mixed
Onion Ailsa Craig

Senposai Greens
Strawberry Mignonette
Tomato Alicante
Yesterday, the sun made it into my greenhouse (over the neighbouring houses) for the first time since early November.... Here comes the summer!
Blimey, you start early, do you heat your GH?
I got rained off!!! It's my exscuse and I'm darn well sticking to it... :)
I had a good effort this morning, three hours digging certainly shifted some of that Christmas pud ... No plans for planting anything yet though.
Derekthefox :D
I managed a couple of hours weeding today, despite periodic miserable showers and a splitting headache (not due to alcohol; I live with a bunch of mad teetotallers). You can see what a mess my flowerbeds have got into what with my not daring to weed them for several years for fear of plants disappearing when I did. I now need to replant what I lost and get back to something like normality. I don't know what the metal object in the foreground of the second pic is; it's very firmly set in the ground and there's another on the opposite side of the plot so it was obviously put there for something, but I've no idea what.

Yup. Nowt sophisticated. Just a fan heater from Argos.
Due to its position, my greenhouse starts to get a bit murky in October so I need to get my toms going promptly. Plus it clears the way a bit for Feb - May when sowing really kicks off...
