OOO  Eric, thats a Willie Wagtail, not a tit.  In other words its a Pied Wagtail.

Maybe it is, but it certainly did not look like one, nor fly like one, nor have the long bobbling tail like one and we have never had them in the garden before. We have seen plenty of them in various car parks, but never in the garden.

It's definitely Pied Wagtail even if it wasn't acting like one.
