Hello Folks! Just found all your birthday greetings. Many, many, thanks to all of you.

Yes i had a good day. Luckily I did not have to work, so was able to do something nice for me. Nothing special just went for a walk in the local countryside, but since the weather was nice (sunny but not too cold),  a very pleasing experience. Took the camera with me to record the walk (and perhaps get an entry for next months photo comp  ;D).

Garden related gifts were Sarah Ravens new book on veg growing and a fun little book on gardening hints and tricks (100 of them, some good others just a bit wacky IMO)

In the evening had a nice meal (with plenty of wine!! ;)).

I always try to make the day as christmas-free as possible (not always easy). Every other day seems wall to wall christmas around this time and theres the danger of 'my day' being totaly overpowered by it
