Good spot Rivendell, used to be the cheapest place if it is in Bold Heath. Buy the bulbs and what we do is plant them in pots rather than straight in the soil. Then plant out in flower, in Spring.
We bought 10 packs of bulbs for £4 at a place near us last week.

It's never too late as long as the bulbs are healthy. They're a long-term investment, so why not buy them when they're cheap?

Don't they just. It was after the original owner sold it to North West Farmers that prices went through the glass roof. I first started going when it was a single polytunnel in his father's farm yard. Ah memories. 10 shrubs for £8.90 eh?
