I would like to try growing squash and pumpkins next year and thought I would try a few varieties in different locations to avoid cross pollination. Has anyone any spare seeds please? One of the types I would like to grow is a yellow "Patty Pan" but would welcome any squash or pumpkin seeds. I have already got "Yellow Crookneck" which Lorna kindly sent me.

I got a load of seed from the 50 seeds for a tenner offer from Seedfest. It's an Americna firm I think so as well as some tomatoes I'd never heard of they sent me 6 packats of Pumpkin/squashes.

Thank you very much for your kind offer. A few people contacted me earlier today with offers of seeds and I have now made arrangements for them to be sent to me. If they all arrive safely, I will be growing 8 varieties of pumpkin and squash. I have several veggie plots and a large compost heap so should just about be able to keep these 8 apart without risk of cross pollination. I am sure someone else will be very pleased to have some of the surplus seeds that you have to offer. Thank you once again.

You do not get 2 packs of the same veriaty do you?
Like for example 2 packs of moneymaker tomatoes.
If not it sounds a tempting offer.

No I didn't get any duplicates, there's a fair old selection, lots of lettuce, squash, tomatoes (unusual varieties), some carrots, beets, cucumbers peppers, cabbages, cauli's. It's all random so you don't know what'll come but for a tenner I'm not complaining. I had an order sent out on the 22nd of December first class and in 18 hours I recieved it. Good old Royal Mail. I have also ordered some of those vege seeds, the 50 discount mis packets, so cannot wait to see what I get. Its so exciting. Sad aint it ::)
