Maybe a bit fuzzy, no tripod and extreme zoom and camera shake.

Oh yes Palastrus, definately the Buzzard.  They are becoming quite common now arent they.  I read somewhere they are more common than the Sparrowhawk now, blooming good job an all.

They are now more common than Kestrels on a national basis.  Not around these here parts though where the Kestrel still reigns supreme.

Lovely pic's Palustris.  I love buzzards despite the fact that they may have been responsible for taking some of my young chicks last summer.  I wish they would take some of the pigeons that feed on my brassicas.

hi paulines,
very unlikely that a buzzard took one of your chicks. i guess it was either a sparrowhawk or a goshawk.
