Title: DAB Radio.
Post by: tim on December 06, 2005, 17:13:32
I get periods of Signal Error between 25 & 45. Is this my aerial (on a high-up chimney) or the broadcaster? We are in a poor signal area for TV - need a booster.

I have a Digital Radio (got it last xmas from OH) but guess what,  no digital radio in our area yet.  Spose we will be one of the last to get it, but we are going to be the first area to lose our analogue TVs.  So, sorry Tim, someone will help you am sure.

RC   Greenlaw in the Borders, why?  you found out something.  OH was always going to complain to our MP about not receiving Digital Radio.

No - just expected it to be the remote one without digital.  I suppose though that up in Aberdeenshire, they probably have loads of digital because of the oil industry.

I am always interested when people live in interesting places - it becomes a habit when live in Lincolnshire  ;D

I presume your signal error could be either Tim
The set is receiving an indequate signal, that is either because you are not receiving it (arial problem) or the signal is not being sent (transmission fault). Aren;t the DAB signals sent on the same transmitters as the television broadcasts. Hence your suspicion of weak signals ...

Perhaps if you sent the radio to Tim and he turned it up really loud?
