Title: GW Tonight 8.30 BBC2
Post by: DaveM on December 02, 2005, 10:37:20
Veg growing given far too little exposure on the goggle box in my opinion  ???but tonight's GW may be worth a look...

"The whole team head to Nottingham for the Roadshow where they will be garden hopping, solving conundrums and planting problems, plus swapping plants, tips and techniques with local gardeners.

They also uncover just what makes this city tick horticulturally, from its stunning civic floral displays and parks to the oldest allotment site in the UK".

Cheers

Dave

Sounds remarkably like a repeat. They spend most of the time looking at gardens in Radcliffe-on-Trent and elsewhere. Some time at the University looking at the park and a flying (very) visit to Hungerhill allotments. Not a very veggie edition if it's the repeat.

I like GW too (especially Sarah Raven) but also get fed up with the repeats. They're on cable all the time.

Better feisty than fisty?

It wouldn't be as bad if they repeated the whole lot, but these are edited to 50% of the originals that were broadcast in the summer.

I'm not watching any of them - though I did record the Sarah Raven veg growing on in the summer so have the whole hour version.
