Planning and dreaming for next year...
Shame with it being your day off Katy, it is snowing here in Coventry too ...
Derekthefox :D
tis snowing here too. bout an inch thick, Grit isnt doing anything, just turning into a brown mush. Awell
plus i cant plan seeds thingy maboby did it weeks ago, has been sent off now!
last night i watched the weather forecast and today looked perfect for a bit of digging. I spent three hours yesterday trying to get ready a place to put the raspberries and an apple and plum tree I've ordered, and I don't know when they will arrive so it's quite urgent. Today I looked out the window and couldn't believe it (sounds like Victor Meldrew!) There's snow everywhere. What are these forecasters doing?
wow - we haven't even had a frost here for about a week! Not that I am complaining obviously (though I do love snow) weird in such a small country the weather can vary so much
I was having a good day on school till just before 12 when it started snowing. The rest of the day was chaos.
I haven't had a good day at school since they were allocated their parts in the biannual big christmas production. Bah humbug - I hate christmas - is it any better in big school?
Snow free zone in kent.
This the worst bit about the snow now, it is all compressed down, and all the paths are sheets of ice, very treacherous indeed. It took me almost twice as long to walk to work this morning because of this. Roll on summer 8)

I'm with you on that one Derek. I was only thinking this morning, we must have had a frost every night for two weeks. I honestly can't remember a spell of weather like this for a long, long time. Lance
The only good thing I can say about it is, that it is good for my ice skating, because I am having to walk everywhere with bent legs to maintain my balance, which is strengthening my muscles ...
Derekthefox :D
;D hahahahaha no snow in doncaster
After a faint dusting last week, we have been snow-free in Cardiff. I even got 8 hours of digging in this weekend, in preparation for next Spring. We have some rain on the way this week - but never mind, it's the National Beer Festival this weekend, so I'm sure I will manage to keep myself busy, one way or the other . . .
Jimbo the Splott Plotter
But just think, with all this cold, all the bad bugs (and good guys I know) are being killed! You never know, we might suffer less with greenfly and blackfly next year!
The eternal optimist Emma ... ?
