I would love to bring mine in at night. I feel so mean when I let them out in the mornings and I have to defrost their water. Poor things. I hope those feathers are warm!
I'm sure they're warm enough with their lovely cosy feathers but their poor little feet, they look so cold and standing on cold wet clay soil (but more like mud now) they just make me feel cold, although they don't seem bothered at all. I'm tempted to knit them some booties! ;D
I dumped a load of leaves in their run at the allotment today - should keep them busy (and warm) scratching it about.
I wish mine lived in my garden not on the lotty then I could give them some heat. Couldn't bring them indoors because Cassie would go nuts and Spook would be licking his lips. Mind you, I think Dennis could sort the pair of them out!
