Could someone please tell me why my football team is so rubbish?

i am in northern ireland and have supported liverpool since i was about 7 although this season has been up and down. i finally got to go to a game this year (vs west ham a few weeks ago) and im 25.
im sure that lincoln will start to pick up their game soon. a few wins and you'll be well clear of the relegation zone. i'll watch out for their result next saturday hoping for a win.
