We are going ;D
My son is going for his tenth birthday - I am babysitting :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
Going sometime this weekend. OH played in the orchestra that did the music for the soundtrack and we had tickets for one of the previews but couldn't get up to London on the particular date. Now we have to pay to see it >:( ;D
Hubby and I will be in London to see Harry Connick Jnr perform ;D
Friend and I have a date to watch HP next Thurs afternoon ;D
I hope to see it this weekend :)
Seeing it this week-end with OH and daughter. ;D
I am going Friday at 8pm, can't wait.
Book four is fantastic so the film should be good.
Love Harry Potter and have a huge cardboard phoenix in my dining room.
Melanie :) :) :) :) :)

Eldest sprog is desperate to watch it this weekend, as are hubby and I but little sprog is a little worried that she might be scared so we are not sure what we are going to do yet cos neither me nor OH wants to stay at home babysitting!!! I'm sure we'll work something out thats is I ever recover from getting glammed up and out on the town tonight!
mr GW hates HP
the snake has out grown HP (he never went to see the last movie either)
candy~floss will be going with his mates
so it looks like i'll be going on my own this time
Well guys just got in the door. I won't spoil it for you but this film ROCKS Delilah. I wouldn't worry about taking your youngest there were kids of 5 at the first showing here. There are parts that might make her jump and it is just a couple of bits at the end but it should be ok for the most part. :)
My 13-year-old just came in a moment ago from watching it, and says each film is better than the last.
That's not saying much ;)
She loved it anyway. I find the books repetitive and over-reliant on the deus ex machina, but then they're not intended for my age group.
Don't tell Jags...but am desperate to see it, but with older 2 at exs and younger 2 would have inverted popcorn bucket on heads, can see me having to wait til its out on DVD... :'(
Lottie ;D ;)
my son and his G/F has gone to watch it tonite , son is big harry potter fan but says they cut loads out in the film the books are much better
They did say on the TV that if they stuck to the story lines in the book each film would have to be about 17 hours long. ;D :o
Well at least they have JK Rowling about to advise the screenwriters on which bits they absolutely had to leave in. I read that the significant parts of each book had to be filmed in order for the last ones to make sense, so if anyone's trying to work out how she'll end it all, you're better off seeing what clues are in the movies than in the books!
I just hope that she makes a better job of it than Julian May did of the Milieu saga. The build-up was fantastic, hints all over the place, bits of flashback in all her previous books to a huge climax (have to add that the second set of books timewise was written first!) and the last book was utter and total pants. I was so disappointed!
Still, as Dei ex Machinas are concerned, you can't get much worse than a film I watched the other week and which was so bad I can't remember what it was! Will edit in when I remember... as it's going to annoy me!
moonbells
thanks Joji - think she has decided to give it a go, if I remember correctly she was worried about the other films too but was OK when we got there - trouble is now we will have to wait til next Saturday cos Mr Delilah is working away this week - looking forward to it though!!!!!!!! :D
cant see for the life of me wot all the fuss is about.Harry Pottey was he Bill&bens pal.
We went last night and it was BRILLIANT - little 'un was fine and just cuddled up to me at the end when they were in the maze, but I didn't make it any better for her cos I jumped out of my skin more than once - What a complete scaredy cat I am!!
Looking forward to The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe now - we always go to cinema on Boxing Day and then on to my mum's for traditional Boxing Day supper of salad, pickles cold turkey for them and cheeses for me :)
Great Delilah
I am glad she enjoyed it. :) The narnia film has my friends Alaskan Malamutes in it as body guards to the snow queen so we are going to go see it. :)
Wow I'll have to watch out for them when we see it :D
