Title: Saved Ipomoea seeds - will they come true?
Post by: jennym on November 11, 2005, 15:37:19
This year, I grew some lovely Morning Glory plants - I think variety was called  Heavenly Blue.

What I want to know is, does anyone know whether they will be true to colour next year? No others were grown nearby.

I will sow them anyway, but it would be nice to know before I plant them out into their final positions so that I can keep my colour scheme.

Hi Jenny.  I've collected my own seed from 'Star of Yelta' and it always comes true.  That said, it wasn't an F1 hybred.  I've got some spares if you want some.  This is what it looks like.
