Title: Onions & Garlic
Post by: Rosyred on November 11, 2005, 09:54:57
Hello,

I planted my onions & garlic about 2-3 weeks ago should I be seeing something coming through by now?  Only trouble was I think I planted them a bit too deep..

My broad beans in my plastic greenhouse and about 1inch high now when should I plant them out??

The onions and garlic will show green tips, if you planted them deep, then this may take a few more weeks, so don't panic! They will be happy and comfortable where they are.

I always plant my broad beans in pots, to stop the mice which are very persistent round my way.I don't normally plant them out until they are about 3 inches high, then I know the root system is well established. As wardy has said, read the packet ...
