anyone tried composting with Effective microOrganisms ?? i read about them on wigglywigglers today and they sound like an interesting but expensive way of composting. perhaps they would be good for meat waste.
i agree that a good heap should 'digest' what is thrown at it. its a bit expensive for me - i got a few wooden pallets for free and there you have it - a compost heap. no fancy gadgets, no fancy organism thingys. nothing. and the compost is d**n good.
i have the can-o-worms from wigglywigglers though, it is a good piece of kit cos you can get liquid feed (which i actually pour on my main heap) and compost which is great for loads of things (surprisingly). PLUS i add excess worms to my main heap as well to give it a lift. its very low maintenance. perfect for me ;)
They is Brandlings - the best you can get. Their wormcasts are highly fertile. I get those in my bin that is in my back garden - transport some of them up to my lottie and put them in my bins up there - then never see them again. Maybe its the toad I have hibernating in bin number 2 (sounds like a fine wine)
