Need a new FTP.....any recommendations? Any cheapies or freebies?
(Hello again, yes I'm back.....trying to make a go of it in Belgium again.)

I have tried a few (freeware only) and I find this FreshDownload unbeatable - very quick and no spyware, no disabled functions.  Available here:

Many thanks. I'm test driving Cute at the moment but like the idea of a freeby seeing as I'm not going to use it day in day out. Might have a look at that 'fresh', Red.

Glad to see you back on the board, Ken, and hope things do go well with you.

Tim, tho I have a vague idea I can't really explain other than  
FTP stands for file transfer protocol. It is used on the Internet to send files from one computer to another  in a way, I think, like email can also be used to send files from one computer to another via email attachments.

I use open source Filezilla which is free to use (as it's open source)
Client and Server versions available.
