Not me you understand, but outside in the wilds of Essex! Blimey it is blowing a gale. My darling will be riding home in a minute on the bike! This will shake all the leaves from the trees, and it does help me with pruning the weeping willow in the garden as it bashes all the dead twigs out!
Hope nobody suffers any damage in these gales.
Same here, EJ, in deepest, darkest Suffolk, is really blowing out there...Rain like I never saw, and howling round me gables, if you know what I mean....Lottie ;D
Raining here in Northumberland. Has been for a couple of hours now.
Had storm yesterday evening about tea time. Complete power failure. We were coping alright until my daughter decided she HAD to have a poo by candlelight.
It's been fine here today, a bit blustery but not too bad. Not been to lotty though worse luck as had mountain of bedding to iron (yes, iron! What a drag) Still, watched me Allotment DVD to help me through. Did find time to go and buy some soft fruit bushes. Last night was very windy during the night and my shed roof has taken a pounding and the rain has poured in. Even my boots were full of water :'( It's going to have to have a new roof
Awww Wardy....Similar here, conservatory leaking...well call it conservatory, has enough room for one chair and a very small flower pot...... ;D ;)
is really windy here too in Bristol, i hate the wind and has been very mild all day but is getting really cold tonite , so will have to dig out the bed socks and a nice cup of hot choc before bed
We all seem to have a touch of wind ;D No rain so far and seems quite mild, have taken my cardigan off and turned off the central heating. Just went up garden and I think Lornas wind chimes and mine are having a competition, hope they don't keep the neighbours awake!!!!
EJ stop eating the beans! Terrible wind here :-X and torrential rain, I wanna get outside and play...this in house doing housework is soooooooooooooo boring! :)
Sorry to say folks but we seem to be the only part of the country that is escaping the strong wind a rain, but then this is Sunny Scunny ;D - hope nobody suffers any damage or flood!!!!!!!!!!! :(
Seems not to be too bad here, but who knows eh?
Ha ha Heldi, I can just imagine your daughter doing dumpies by candlelight , that has got me giggling now !

We got it all here in the capital of Lincolnshire ;D.
Are you trying to wind me up Redclanger :D ;D
So let me get this straight....
Lottie's gables are rattling, Heldi's not got the power, Wardy's pounding iron, dibber has windy bristols, Lorna's chimes are rattling, DP wants to play, Delilahs scunny is sunny, Derek isn't bad and Redclanger's got the lot!
;D ;D ;) ;) ;D ;D
I reckon that seems to sum it up EJ!!!
Derekthefox :D
Suppose I don't count being miles away across the pond.
But, lovely and sunny here, sitting at 15 cel. ;D
EJ That has just tickled me pink ;D When you put it like that has got to bring a smile to one and all!!!! I came in for a cuppa, forgot how early it gets dark now so no more graft until tomorrow. Lorna
PS Lorna's chimes are louder than mine but mine are better looking. I think maybe Charlie' nephew got them for me in Paignton Zoo (he works in the graphics dept)
That tickled me too EJ!
Rain again today. I had my haircut on Tuesday and I still don't really know what it's supposed to look like with all this wind and rain, no harmony hairspray swishes for me this week.
waahhahaa (etc) EJ Very funny ;D Really cheered me up
Not got to plot today as howling gale and does so muss up my hair ;D Speaking of hair. I was just stirring me spag bol as you do and my hair felt a bit itchy. Felt something wriggling in me wig and it was a ruddy gret fly of some kind. I ran like an idiot outside trying to get it out and doing a bit of a strange sort of dance at the same time. neighbour must think I'm barmy :) I had been out to shops so it must have got in then. Ugh
LOLOL!! Sorry, Wardy, but the picture you paint!! Hope you didn't tread on dog in the panic, and I'm sure the neighbours are used to you by now..... ;D ;)
Lottie
i fink you have summed that up beautifully EJ ;) ;) ;)
Me gables are at it again, this morning.... ::) ::) ::), but braving elements, and off a diggin! If you don't hear from me, will probably be riding PT over Bristol Channel...keep an eye out, Dibs.... ;D ;)
See if you can get in close to spot any of those placcy dog toys that are rumoured to be washing up on your shores ;D
Blowing gale and raining here too :(

Think you're working too hard, Martin.... ;D ;) Wardy, will attempt stuffed toy mission....waders on, visor down...Ooo water's cold....can I just buy you one??? ??? ;)
Wow, went down to the greenhouse to sort out my cuttings, (Rosebud - baby fushcias are looking well and from all you sent me, I think I have only failed on 3 lots! all growing well and looking fit and healthy! ;D), but after listening to the wind whipping around the glasswork, and the rain lashing down above my head, I decided to come in and have a seed sorting session! Much safer!
Windy, (big puppy dog brown eyes fluttering), I'm sorry, but you are whipping this part of Essex up into a frenzy! ;)
Hi All, THE wind and rain has now stopped in my area, ;D ;D
lottie: i'm having a couples of day off from work :D :D
EJ: sorry for making your town into a mess, but it may give lottie another job for her enterprise (thats if she like to travel)
;) ;) if your a good girl you can play now, and stop fluttering your brown eyes as it works every time, ;D ;D
keep up the fun
windy
What a difference to last weekend! Been down my Essex lottie today but so wet and windy (the weather that is...not me!) had to retreat back home .......still it is November after all?
Weather men keep threateneing a really cold winter but the seasons are so out of kilter reckon we will get it in March?
Same here, Mark, dug this morning, in wind, when rain arrived conceded defeat!! Came back for spot of child baiting..... ;D ;D ;D
Windy, not sure how that'll look on my CV ....gardening, design, consultancy.... and town cleaning....mmmmm.....needs tweaking, I feel..... ::) ;D ;)
Lottie
I think you were very brave going out in that poop weather! I was hoping to get up to the plot tomorrow for the day, but I think it is going to be so wet I would end up doing more harm than good!
I was rained off too, the heavens opened as I was walking home from skating, I ended up paddling home in 3 inches of water ...
Derekthefox :D
I suppose the one thing you can say about poop weather is that you feel extra glad once your in the warm and dry.....
Even tried to have a brew up on the stove in the lottie shed only to find that association chairman had switched water off for the winter and couldn't fill the kettle....GGggrrrrrrr
Some days it doesn't matter how hard you try it's just not gonna happen?
???
