Post by: Garden Manager on November 03, 2005, 13:25:57
Can anyone tell me more about this plant. I have just discovered i have the yellow form of this in my garden. (having long beleived it to be alstromeria).

I have it growing in my bog garden where it has gone berserk.

Any info or growing tips appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think you'll need any tips!!! It grows like a weed and self sows everywhere but very pretty ;D ;D ;D

I have a deep rose pink version as well as the yellow form - and a couple of years ago I started getting stripey flowers!

It's a great plant for late afternoon/early evening scent, but agapanthus speaks wisely - be ruthless with it!
