Title: WHITE RABBITS

Did everyone say 'white rabbits' this morning.  It should be the first thing you say on the first day of each month.  Don't know where the saying comes from, for me it was my mother who used to say it. It's supposed to bring good luck!!

I can never remember to say it, although this morning I said it to myself!!

So come along everyone, if we all say it together, maybe we will have a dry month so that we can all get our lotties dug over and settled for the winter. ;D  ;D  ;D  ;)

I was always told it has got to be the first thing you say after midnight, at the start of the new month otherwise it doesn't work -  also it is best to say it three times, all at once.  ::) busy_lizzie

You're right B-L it has to be the very first thing you say.  I still say it even if it's the umpteenth thing I've said, just in case.  It must be working because the sun is shinning  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)

We always said White Rabbits 3 times too - although the sprogs now say "pinch punch first of the month" not sure where that has come from but you guessed it there are pinch punch actions to go along with it!!!!!!!!!!

We always say "rabbits" on the first day of the month, but we don't seem fussed about their colour! In fact it's a race to see which grandchild can phone their grandfather first to say it!

Never heard of that one, we are a definate nip and a punch for the first of the month and no returns family", the no returns being the important bit as without it you leave yourself open to "a punch and a kick for being so quick"

Where do these things come from ??
