Lovely. Wonder what they grow up there?
Where, exactly??
Nice pics, but if the met men have their way you'll be able to go to scotland or northern england and get the same in a couple of months time!
The pictures were taken on a boat on its way around Greenland and the Arctic Circle. She flew to Iceland and boarded the ship there and was on the high seas to Greenland in a Force 10 Gale for 2 days. Apparently the gale was the tail end of Katrina. Most of the holiday makers were 'ill'. She thoroughly enjoyed her trips to these areas and even managed to see Polar Bears which she took pics. Last year, my friend took a similar break in Antartica (she doesnt like the heat). She is quite a lady and does things different to normal folk! I shall tell her of your appreciation of her pictures.
Carol, they are magnificent pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. Quite a unique landscape. I am gobsmacked!
Those are just such stunning landscapes, amazing!
Carol your friend does sound like quite a lady! What fantastic holidays. Have you not ever fancied going on a trip with her?!
