Title: Powdery Mildew
Post by: Georgie on October 28, 2005, 21:17:18
Hi.  I tried this question in 'Basics' under the title 'using sulphur' but I'm not getting very far.  Does anyone have any experience of using green sulphur to prevent powdery mildew on ornamentals and if so, is it effective?

My courgette plants suffered terribly with powdery mildew.

Can I compost the leaves. or should they be burned?

"them in a vacant space in a flower bed or vegetable garden, or, bury them in a compost pile where the spores will be killed in the heat of the decaying compost."
