Just picked these today & gave 3 away to the other allotment
holders.
Have been trying to grow Cauliflower all year.
They are beauties Tel. Hope mine turn out like that!
Lovely caulis :) Wish I had some :( I was noticing on plot today that my lotty neighbour seems to have gone AWOL. His polytunnel is all ripped and flapping and his cauliflowers are all just sitting there looking stunning and he's nowhere to be seen. I hope he's not ill or worse. A young couple near us have a plot too and they have not been near for months - all their corn is untouched, cabbages and they have some lovely looking borlotti beans! Seems a shame for all that produce to be going rotten :(
My plot is a bit of a disaster zone today, flattened leeks, leaking water butt, hole in watering can and much worse my greenhouse door is all smashed. Not a pane of glass left unscathed - must have blown open :( Oh, and my shed wash awash with water and all my onions were soddened. Leaking roof :'(

You're so kind ;D Came home and consoled myself with great wedge of lemon drizzle cake. It was just sitting there on the worktop saying "eat me" :P

I'm chillin on here instead :) I should be washing, cooking and cleaning as have had guests in and have four more tomorrow so have to get me rooms done and all the laundry. What an exciting life I lead ;D I'd rather be on the lotty communing with me carrots :)
I'm on here chillin too. my back is hurting after moving some paving slabs. They were double thick ones an all but they were in my way GGGRRR !!!
Didn't have any cake what so ever in the house so have had to eat some jammie dodgers instead.

Hope the lemon drizzle cake cheered you up! (Those would be home grown lemons in a home baked cake I'm guessing? ;D)
Not been back to lotty to clear up the mess yet. it's pouring it down here. the lemon drizzle cake was M & S and was gorgeous and soon lifted my spirits so did a visit to the pub last night :) I made a curry from a squash someone gave me and it was fab. My OH couldn't believe it was squash (why, I don't know ;D)
