Hi Dawn,  A totally rubbish day here in Whitley Bay, - one of those dark autumn days with torrential rain and frisky winds.  It is a housey day and I am staying in and doing lots of baking.  Good luck at the hospital!  :) busy_lizzie

Was going to carry on in the garden after a brilliant day yesterday.  however it's cold and wet and windy - first jumper day of the autumn - so I'm doing admin and pottering.   Hope it clears up tomorrow.  loads to do and onnly 3 days before we go away for 10 days and I've got my gardening group here 2 days after we get back and the house to clean and a lunch to make.  Cripes!

Yet another horrendous day of lashing rain and winds here in the Borders.  Think we are all starting to have webbed feet.  Garden is flooded and trenches dug for the new path full of water.   Oh well, maybe next Monday will be nice.

:( :( :( :(

Its even raining and blowing here on the South Island, but as I have over  one thousand shrubs to plant and also  4 thousand perrenials to plant this winter, I have been out  most of the day planting in the rain.

Nice and warm though! As I go by the old saying 'I'ts not bad weather, but bad clothes that get you wet'.

We have five  large themed gardens to do this winter at a pleasure park, and it can only be done between late Oct. and early march, ready for next season.
