Title: Seeds for Children
Post by: wardy on October 22, 2005, 11:16:46
Just bought these from Suttons for a birthday present for a six year old.  £3.99 pr pack.  They do single packs for children too.  Anything to get children growing their own  :)

For the first time, I actually like a product's packaging !   {:¬)#

I'm just waiting for Palustris to say that Seeds for Children sounds like a fair swap. :)

and can I start the ball rolling?  1 spotty, smelly, stroppy teenager totally useless around the house and garden but plays the french horn beautifully for any veg seed at all.  Any takers? ;)

Suttons gave me a few packets of those when I was a student teacher and I was teaching 'Helping plants to grow well' as part of my final teaching practice.  J Arthur Bowers/John Innes were also very helpful.  I have had a soft spot for both companies ever since - good seeds by the way.

As usual I bet they look nothing like the picture on the packet when they're grown. ;)
