Lishka
don't work for me either
You have to put what you want to say between the brackets
Push what you want, you will see ( blah blah)insert what you want to say here!(blah blah) that should work! ;D
On another Forum, some peeps can't do the snazzy bits 'cos they've not got their "cookies enabled"?
Strange, that, cos it's not a cookery Board ;)
Lishka
if only you could all keep your messages STILL - and in BOLD - maybe I could read them!! It must wear the machine out, keeping them tearing past
What I haven't yet figured (in addition to all the above) is the photo bit - I need to ask advice about plant problems. Where better? - Tim
All this fancy stuff is bound to crash my steam powered mac when I read stuff at home!
:o
Tim I too want to know the photo bit, anyone out there to help us? Please! :)
Why not ask this specific question on the 'Suggestions' page - bold as you like?
'spect that when Dan's come in from glorying in all the wet stuff on his lottie and dried off, he'd easily see it?
For my part, I'm longing for you, Tim, Eric and Ina to share with everyone pix you've all sent to me..
Lishka
Right, I think I understand you Doris. Its no good saying I've got it wrong Aliska, I'm older than you, and more stupid.
BUT I RECKON I'VE GOT IT NOW
Thank you so much Doris, I'm happy now.
but can you glow in the dark yet, Colin?

Ah Doris,
What ever your drinking I want some, think there is some thing going on.
have you come across Mr Moley he's a cracker hee hee
[shadow=red,left,300]Teresa[/shadow]
Sorry teresa, can`t find a mention of it anywhere. Even the Rhubarb Compendium (everything you wished to know about Rhubarb, and then some) makes no mention of it. The only (possibly) helpful suggestion that I can make is that the RHS maintain the National Rhubarb Collection - partly at Wisley and partly at High Carr. Unfortunately there is no list of maintained varieties on the RHS web sites, and you would have to write or email the RHS for information.
However, purely anecdotally, the Manchester area, particularly around Sale, was a very well known Rhubarb growing area in Victorian times, and one of the staple dishes in the local workhouses was Rhubarb Dip (presumably for the toothless geriatrics to soak the hard crusts provided) and it may be that the name is simply a local nickname from these associations.
Thanks Hugh for trying.
I did find two names Prince Albert and Victoria but no discriptions or photos will have to email someone. ::)
Teresa
Is the Prince Albert pierced? :o
Hi RR
Dont think he had earings in those days
