There is an interesting timeline now on the Thomas Etty site showing when certain vegetable cam into being.  A must if you are into grwoing the oldest varieties available like I am.

Thanks RC..  I like reading about heritage veggies, some wierd and wonderful stuff can still be had.  Fothergills to quite a few heritage spuds etc
