Title: Smug!
Post by: undercarriage plan on October 13, 2005, 14:51:18
Well, pat on back, please!! Not one for making things, get my mum to do it!! But she has been cheeky enough to go on hol, how selfish is that... ;) But I did it!! For son no1, dressing up as Willie Wonka tomorrow. As he left for school, throw away comment of "Oh, don't forget the purple top hat, mum....." AHHHHHHHH!! But voila! Now just got Harry Potter and Tinkerbell to do..... ::) ::) ::)

Well done Lottie, that looks brilliant!  I always hated dressing up day and felt really relieved for a few minutes last week that all mine were at secondary school and beyond so I wouldn't have to do it, but then I was quite sad that it wouldn't happen any more and we have moved on.  So enjoy it while you can, it goes too quickly.  Good luck with the others, I am sure you will be fine judging from the photo :).

Thanks Tulippa! Though think they may be confusion in the ranks....Tinkerbell is now wearing wizard hat and has drawn on face with eye liner, Harry Potter is struggling into fairy wings  ???, and Willie Wonka has been sent to his room!!!  ::) ::) ::)

I remember similar times well...  Now I have one at work after college, one out playing cricket and one waiting to go back on the PC.  I used to wonder if the arguing would ever end but now it is so quiet.

I took yesterday off work as the boys had an Inset day but they both ended up out with friends and I was home alone, at least I got lots of jobs done as it was raining and I couldn't do the garden.

I like the idea of Harry Potter with wings, he could well manage that, but Tinkerbell with eyeliner sounds a bit scarey!  Hope Willy Wonka comes out suitably subdued.

Ha ha well done, I was always the creator in our house, but I was always accused of being too fastidious ...

I hear Blue Peter are looking for new presenters... any good with cornflake boxes and sticky backed plastic Lottie?

My 'Governor' works at a primary school and her best yet was Buckingham Palace...  all out of cornflake boxes and cardboard toilet roll tubes plus, I think, flour and water glue

But you'll be pleased to know that Willie Wonka has come down and apologised to Harry Potter for inapproppriate remark :o, but new crisis,, Tinkerbell has decided that she wants to be Snow White... ::) ::) ::) Am writing this from closet where they won't find me....... ;D ;D ;D

I m impressed  :D

i m attempting a black cat for Halloween disco, thought I'd got away with making only one costume this year as eldest sprog has moved on to secondary school.

but then, shock, horror, she came home from the riding stables to inform me that they are holding a fancy dress gymkhana and could I make a princess outfit for her AND HER HORSE!!!!!!!!!

Where do I start - think I'm still getting over the shock!!! :-\

Harry Potter had severe hat coordination problems, then lost his wand, again.. ::) stood on Willie Wonka's glasses who ended up in bedroom again for unattractive sulking///Tinkerbell had complete personality meltdown was torn between tinkerbell/sleeping Beauty and Snow White....Wicked Wicth entered proceedings and roared in scary fashion...all now well-behaved...what do you think?  ;D ;D ;D
