One a bog standard goldfish...OH's..."Lips McGurk" and my fish an oranda  "Ship Ahoy" . Both live in perfect harmony and infact ganged up on the White Clouds and ate them!

cheers joji!  I do like those. I think if I ever had another big tank I'd have a whole shoal of 'em.

I think I've seen something like your saphire blue dragon goby at the garden centre. They've recently upgraded their aquarium section and it really is quite impressive. Lots of BIG display tanks with lots of BIG fish!

How many tanks have you got joji?  Do puffer fish have to be in a marine enviroment or tropical? Have you got a marine tank? Questions questions!

That's alot of fish joji  !!!!!!    :D  :D

I've always quite fancied a marine set up but thought it might be too much of a faff.

What are you planing for your new tank ?

ooooooooooo Joji, I will have to get my darling to post some pics of his tanks.  I have limited him to 3 as I worry about the amount of electricity pumping around the system, and where on earth do you keep them all!  He now has a fabulous corner tank with just platties and endlers in at the moment, but I sense a weekend shop......discus, angels, rainbow fish have been under discussion, altho for me, it has to be oscars everytime!  In the kitchen we have a monster tank, but it is thin and sits on the windowsill.  This has convicts, which breed like rabbits, catfish and loaches in it.  A very masculine tank.  Then at the foot of the stairs, the pretty tank, a whopper with big shoals of neons, harlequins, rummynoses, silver tips and serpas.

I have a fish room Emma  ;D

One room in which all but one of my tanks sits out of the way lol

Yes would love to see some of your fish.

Discus are hard to keep unless you are in a soft water area. :)

Oscars are nasty and can bite you badly. :'(

How fantastic Joji!  I love your fish and the way you have photographed them is impressive, loved the lighting shining on them. My sons has just put  lovely fish tank wallpaper on our computer with sound effects, which is probably the nearest we will ever get to some tropical fish.   :D busy_lizzie

Sad news...Lips McGurk has died  :(  .    I always feel very sad when a goldfish dies. Goldfish in fung shui are baby dragons and one of mine has flown. Ship Ahoy is now all on his lonesome.

I don't have fish as my wallpaper but I have Ben Browder on my desktop..cooooorrrr!!

joji, i know u say that discus are hard to keep, well let me tell you about our tank.

1 x leopard pleca
1 x pearl gourami
5 x green tiger barbs
1 x platy
1 x discus
1 x black moor goldfish
1 x big fat greedy calico goldfish

All kept at 26 c, water change every week 30%. every 3/4 weeks 50%. dont use any chemicals or water tap safe stuff. we dont live in a soft water area, just use hot & cold water from the tap, thats it!

and everything is as happy as larry!

joji, 3 years but we've only had discus since oct 05. we lost a lot of fish at the begining, when we was using all the added stuff, so we stopped putting stuff in and since then, they've been fine, thats been nearly 2 years

You probably don't have chlorine in your water system then. Or is your water filtered ?
