Title: Life after death?
Post by: tim on October 07, 2005, 09:35:01
So you think that you've got problems?

The mildew got away from me, & the RSM was pretty disastrous (though now under control) but the cus are now 18 1/2 feet long & still producing new growth! And one or two fruit each day.

I have still got a few cucumbers in our lottie greenhouse and they look a little like yours Tim. It is amazing how they are still producing fruit, considering how half dead the plants look.

As I also  mentioned on another post my courgettes got really mildewed and after a brilliant harvest I thought that was it, so we cut them down.  What do you know, after a short while they started flowering again and have produced some more lovely courgettes.   :) busy_lizzie

Isn't it amazing how plants can recover so well after mildew.  Went out this morning to pull up and compost the courgettes only to pick 8 good sized new ones with more on the way.  I thought the mildew and then the cold nights had finished them off!
