I am Sowing Radish at the moment and have covered with Netting, at what stage, can I remove netting ? ?
what's the netting for? Flea beatle is the biggest prob with radish so fleece is best for that (methinks)
Hi Wardy,
I am advised Pigeons on our Plot, eat new Seedlings ? ?
Right! You could leave the netting in place, and just remove it temporarily to weed etc, then put it back in place. As radish is quite quick to grow and be ready to eat you might not need to weed. I use shopping baskets, turned upside down, as cloches to keep pigeons off. Tesco ones are good ;D
Wardy,
You mentioned Fleece, being new to Allotments--6weeks, where do you buy it--I only think of Fleece Jackets silly me.
Wardy Your a tonic. Poor owd tescoes...lol cheers Jim..
