I don't know whether this has been shown before but, when searching for an article on White Rot, which I originally found through Cherrybyte - Agriculture, I found this.

Boo hoo, boo hoo! Poor poor hunions! And as a reminder to those who maybe storing onions where white rot is a problem, I have just binned a whole string of reds that looked perfect when I strung them, and I have kept my eye on them, but they have disintegrated from the inside out! YUCK!!
Down to my last 4 onions. At least the leeks are well and truly on the go, apart from one entire row that have bolted already!
Awwww EJ, my onions seem fine so far, but i can sympathise about the leeks. Loads of mine have gone to seed already!!
