Title: Contentment is a lottie
Post by: Icyberjunkie on October 01, 2005, 10:54:25
Picked the kids up from school and diverted to the lottie to see what damage the latest storm had done after the last one flattened my beans.    Result?  No damage and this harvest - think I am definately addicted to lottying!

Hi Icyberjunkie, nice veg, please place some more pics of your lottie, but is the statement correct, Contentment is a lottie, because my LOTTIE is
Demanding for Food and TLC
Never forgiving, if she dont like it, the plant wont grow,
i worry if i've looked after her wright and given her every thing she needs,
still i can allways dream about next year
lol,
its a nice place to go to and get away from everybody, all the noise and stress of life, so thinking about your statement may be you are correct  ;D
lol windy

I truly believe contentment is a lottie - it was my saviour when my lovely ma died and I love being there at any time.  I went up there last Saturday on my own with a bag of fish and chips and just sat there contentedly scoffing, quite happy with my own company and just chillin.  It's not just about being frenetic and having to wear yourself out  :)

Same here Wardy, my allotment is like my temple, it is where I can sit and think, all the worries of the world disappear, and then when I feel like it, I can get stuck in. I have used it to eat fish and chips too !

Ha ha yes there seems to be more chatting at our allotments than gardening some days, but it is wonderful to be able to do that!
