..........sad really, I will miss them, but a dear friend here has just sent me a beautiful book to remind me of them through the winter months,   ;D  Many, many thanks !!   :-*

    Very nice pics magpie..........lucky this end though...... there is a Butterfly
   farm about a 20 minute drive away. !!!!!  ;D

Oh, will have to venture up the A1 sometime, and beg B&B at my brother's place in Alnwick!!    ;)     ;D

 I was there today Jaggy!!!  isn't that strange?   Enjoyed my lunch in Dobbies as well and bought myself a Wedding Anniversary present for all them years of married life.

Nah Jaggy!!   ;)   Prefer pitching a tent on the dunes by Bamburgh Castle!!  Much more romantic!!   ;)    ;D

It's a great place to go Carol...some beautiful ones to see... Dobbies is a great
  morning out too......... glad you enjoyed your lunch  I am just wondering 25
years  and no time off for good behaviour  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D hope the coughs and
splutters clear up too......... Magpie its a castle and if you were going to pitch
a tent on the sands yesterday I can assure you you would still be airborne

Oh I'm so envious Di, I can't recall seeing any butterflies this summer in our garden (except for the dreaded CW's that is).  That first photo is amazing, what a beautiful shot, well done  :)

Fantastic shots Di!!!!  :D We've not had many butterflies this year at all - probably due to the rotten spring weather we had. Only seen a single ladybird and very few wasps and lacewings. Thank goodness we have plenty of bees though.  :)

I don't understand you not having the butterflies Eileen, its been one of the bestest years ever for them in Scotland according to Reporting Scotland few weeks back.  I know we had loads of them in our garden as well.  I even saw them at Dobbies yesterday.  Ah well.   

25 years marriage eh?   heck?  is that all,  dont think, much longer than that, but then I was a Child Bride.

These are super photos  MD.   just wonderful.  Roll on next summer.

Barely seen any butterflies in my garden either  :'(, but loads of ladybirds and wasps!! Lovely pics. Lottie  ;D
