Title: Raspberry
Post by: bigdumbird on September 30, 2005, 21:08:42
I have inherited a large amount of raspberry canes.

They are fruiting now and the fruits are yellow.

When and how do i go about pruning the bushes?

Any other tips for looking after the canes

If the fruits are yellow then it could be either Autumn bliss or All Gold.  They are autumn fruiting so come winter, once fruiting has stopped, you cut all the canes down to ground level, as the fruit are produced on current years growth.  Lucky you!  I am planning to buy some!
