Can anyone help me out? We're having a fancy dress pub crawl to celebrate our 40th's (mine 01/10 OH 11/10) Need to finish my outfit off with a parasol. Pub crawl is on 8th Oct.

Crash, if you mean a big one that you have over an outside table, I have one of those, and you're more than welcome!! However, if you mean as in Mary Poppins, then can't help unfortunately. But PM if you want the biggy, and post pic of outfit when in it!!! Lottie ;D ;D ;D

Crash, if you cannot get one spray paint as suggested and glue some white lace around it ,it will look good. ;D

Crash, We have a battered chinese parasol that one of our neighbours brought us back from Hong Kong many years ago. It has a bit of a tear which you can probably see which could be repaired. Is this the sort of thing you are after? See below pic. busy_lizzie

Crash, will get if off on Monday. That should be enough time for the 8th. Your'e welcome to keep it, - it needs a good dusting but I hope it will complete your outfit. Parasol arrived this morning... Just need to go to a charity shop, I saw a feather boa yesterday!
