That reminds me, I once saw someone walking through the centre of Cambridge with a goat on a lead. Not a lot of people about to notice - it was around midnight - but those who were about just ignored them. I was rather concerned about what they were planning to do with it :o.
Goats get extremely friendly if you let them. Reminds me of the story of the Cornish vicar who used to take his pig to church and install it in the bottom level of his 3-decker pulpit. When someone queried this, he replied, 'For all you know, that pig may be as much in need of salvation as you are'.

When I worked at a police station they arrested a goat for stealing from the greengrocers. It was wandering in the street and took a liking to their produce. They booked in correctly with a custody record and took it's photo. Couldn't finger print it though ..........
