Look back on Roy's - or try the AGA one?

I'll elaborate if you wish?

Marrow Soup.

1 marrow cut into chunks - peel & pips!!
1 onion peeled & chopped
2 cloves garlic sliced or crushed
1 pt veggie stock
salt & pepper

sweat onions in a little olive oil to soften it
add rest of the ingredients
cook till marrow tender
liquidise

believe me its great, we eat pumpkin seeds so what's the difference.
delicious!! ;)

AGA's similar to Roy's, but adds some breadcrumbs, white sauce with a little diijon & nutmeg, & no Schwartz!!

Thanks for reply's.

I'm going to do stuffed marrow with one and the other I was interested to do a chutney but it mean't I had to buy apples so I think the marrow soup sounds different. If I like the taste of stuffing one then that will be the way to go. See I haven't had one for 15 years plus.
