I've just had an interesting text.....!! Seems poor Melinda's got a bit of bother....Right in the middle of pruning, mobile goes off, text message "Dear Melinda, your chlamydia test results have come back positive, please contact us on...."! :o Texted right back and said "You have the wrong number, best check pretty sharpish!" Poor thing! What a horrible way to get that sort of news! Anyone else received wrong messages? Lottie
No, but that did make me smile!
Poor thing. Not that I have any idea what Chlamydia is, but if they test for it, it must be nasty. (don't tell me now, I'm eating my lunch!)
Had one a couple of weekends ago - I picked up the phone "hello?". Lady replies, after pause, "Is that double O seven international?" I replied "no - you've got the wrong number." She replied "I think I've got the wrong number!" So many times this happens - I say it's wrong, they have to repeat it!
My favourite, though, was when I answered the phone one saturday morning... "hello?". Male caller replied "Is that Sunshine?" (or some silly girl's name). "no - you've got the wrong number." Put phone down. two minutes later, rings again. Same guy. Same conversation. I bet you he'd met this girl in a club and she'd given him a wrong number on purpose. Five minutes later it rings again. Same guy. This time Mr Aqui answers. He never called back after that!
(Just realised this is about text messages, not old fashioned speaking calls. But I don't have a mobile and wanted to play!)
Did get a text message from my mum on my home phone yesterday, though. that was weird!
Ha ha I don't have that problem, got a mobile, but no numbers in it except for RAC breakdown. Therefore, any messages aint for me. A simple life ...

Poor lad will probably still be mentally scarred. I still remember the day I had to go to school in pink pants and vest thanks to my mum washing everything with a red top........it was sports day too.......the shame...oh the shame..................... :-[
Still might even worse depending on what 'special' means. I mean big pants is bad enough but if thongs.........!!!!!!!!! :o
