Would like to say, 'All in a days work!" but this one took a bit longer, say 3 days?
It is supposed to look like a limestone pavement and it is indeed made with limestone.
I will leave it now until Spring to settle before planting up (anyway I need to go and buy some plants!)
This is NOT the latest project though, for that you will have to wait!
I like it Eric, what are you going to plant it up with?
That looks good Eric! How do you fancy coming up here and finish off a meandering path which was started in 2004 and won't get finished or 2006!!! Am sick sick sick of looking at a churned up lawn!
::) ::) ::)
I love that Eric. It's a really attractive and unusual shaped bed. Looks like it was quite a lot of hard work but at least you have the heavy bit over now and the nice bit comes next with your planting. :) busy_lizzie
Looks like the chooks approve!
How do you find the time to pass??
Impressive as always, Eric - you sure have a landscaper's eye, could you do anything for my balcony? ;)
Wow you've been busy Eric ! I am sure it will look fantastic once it is finished ! ;D ;)
very impressive
Looking good Eric :)
M.
Look's great Eric, I think I'd better start propagating.
Very impressive I must say. Must have taken some doing getting those rocks in just the right places to look soooo natural.
Well Done.
So what was there before? Just lawn? Did you have to buy in the stone or did you have it already?
Before this it was the herb garden, but now there are only 2 of us we do not need so many, so we moved it into the veg garden and weedkilled off and dug out.
Seriously the actual construction took only 3 days. We have been building these things for a few years now.
The rocks came from elsewhere in the garden where we are carrying out another project. Originally they were a Xmas present from my mother-in-law about 8 years ago.
