Title: Perpetual spinach to swop
Post by: sarahr on September 19, 2005, 13:21:50
Hi,

We've had a load of spinach run to seed, and have literally thousands of seeds. If anyone wants some let me know. This is the kind that grows forever if you continue watering and picking it. If you've got something to swop all the better, doesn't matter if you don't.

Hi Sarah.  I'd love a pinch to try in pots please.   ;D  Would Borage seed be ok in return?  Otherwise I only have Aquilegia or Nicotiana at the moment.

Borage is fine. PM me your details. According to my mother who pays attention to these things the spinach will get to its full size in six weeks. I'm now worried that I'm going to come back to a field of spinach  :o on the lottie considering the amount of seeds that fell while we were collecting them.

I'd love some if you've any left. I have quite a random selection - is there anything you really want or shall I send my most peculiar?

Debs & bupster I have no particular wants so what ever you fancy sending is fine. I don't really need any more tomatoes unless its the beef steak type.  PM me your details.
