I think I have mentioned this before, but how about a meet up somewhere? How about potato day - not sure of the date at Ryton. If you can't make that, Hampshire branch of HDRA organises one, doesn't it Phil? If we meet at a gardening related place, then if we don't like the look of each other, we can keep ourselves amused. If the A4A merchandise gets going - I personally like the idea of a logo that we can print out and iron (maybe not that bit!) onto a t-shirt.
I am very keen on the idea - I could make the Ryton venue. It would be great to actually meet all you wonderful gardeners in the flesh ! Not so sure you would find me so pleasing though ;D ;D ;D But at least you will recognise me as the walking scarecrow !

It will be for a weekend in Jan/Feb 2006 (the Saturday I think is member's day) - not sure of the dates yet... You can buy one seed spud if you want instead of having to buy 3kg of one variety.

Ryton is well worth a visit plus they have a nice restaurant 'and' cafe.
Hope they have finished the roadworks onthe A45.. I managed to get lost earlier this year as the road direction signs were virtually non existant

Drat I am already booked with a lottie friend to go to Ryton on the Saturday as we're both members... typical, but at least I'll be able to give you lot heads-up on what they've got! ;)
