Title: Damson trees
Post by: Obelixx on September 16, 2005, 12:21:52
I shall be visiting family in the Lake District over the Halloween period and want to see if I can find some wee damson trees to bring home.  Can anyone recommend varieties and sources that sell direct in that neighbourhood?

I personally grow Damson 'Shropshire prune' and find it very good.

:)  There is a yummy Damson tree in the allotment and Wilf said anyone's allowed to eat them because no-one owns the tree. :D  It is also good for climbing up.  From Ruth
