I just 'mist' the best bit - had to water the g'house & pick the toms etc first!

Wonderful Tim, I so love these 'moods' that the weather can create at this time of year. I presume your original photo creates a gorgeous picture, because even the image here is fantastic.

I am envious of being able to take good pictures . . .

Tim, I always think I have 'stolen' the best part of the day from those people still in bed, it is lovely in these misty mornings and I get a lot done in the garden before my tribe appear, I love it!

And star-gazing late at night when they are all asleep!

I'd have to agree Tim.  One of my favourite times of day is the early morning when mist is around.  One of the things I used to love about night fishing on lakes and rivers was the mist curling up as the sun rose - blooming cold sometimes though!

It's nice here in the mornings too. The land is so low, and we are at the bottom, you can see the mist rolling sometimes.

It's always so quiet when it's misty, I love it and reminds me when I used to go horse riding early in the morning when it was misty, fantastic! :D

Derek, I can't keep up with your avatars! ;D

I wouldn't mind getting up at six to go to the lotty though.  Do you know I can honestly say I've never been there early in the morning.  I will set my stall out to do just that  :)  Been there at the end of the day and it's idyllic then.  Well, until the local plod breaks the silence (usually every ten minutes or so) with their infernal sirens :o

I wonder if they'd let rip with the sirens if they had to justify each one.  Or do they?

Last year when I was particulary hacked off with people I decided to get up at 5 every morning to enjoy the world without them and I loved it.  Those two hours of sheer heaven before everyone else gets up  :)

Can't do that anymore as I don't get home from college until 10pm so I can't be in bed early enough  :(

I am up every morning at 6am or even earlier sometimes.  Very early mornings (especially in summer) are the best part of the day !  ;D ;D ;D

Lovely atmospheric pic Tim.  We get lots of sea fret that rolls in, usually when everywhere else is covered in sunshine. There is something very supernatural about it.   I always have good intentions about getting up early; one of these days - I know it would be worth it, if I could see some of your fantastic views.  :) busy_lizzie    Â
