Title: Another surprise.
Post by: lorna on September 09, 2005, 23:12:03
Talk about kids hoodwinking parent.. Yesterday I popped down to see my son at his business place. He suddenly said " Oh Mum I have arranged for one of my deliveries to come to your house, between 10.30am and 11.30am do you mind?" Me.. no thats OK but why couldn't you have it delivered here. son answers.. well I thought I might have to go out to a customer. OK so I quickly drank my cuppa and home I came. A little later my hairdresser turns up,normally  she comes every other Friday but as I am going out (don't know where) tomorrow for the first part of my b'day present she said she would come tomorrow morning!!!!
It turns out that Lorna jnr had asked her to come and perm my hair yesterday and so got her brother to make sure that I was home and not out shopping!!!
I know I am biased but what a lovely family I have. I am off to bed now, have got to get some beauty sleep so that I look my best tomorrow. Lorna.

Make sure you pack the headache pills when you come then Lorna as pharmacies close at 12 noon on Saturdays and you can't buy them anywhere else as they have a  drug and medecines monopoly.  The beer is very strong.  Another I should have mentioned earlier is Mort Subite - Sudden Death.   You have been warned.   I hope you have a great time.

Thanks all. If you look under Georgies post " A little cheer" you will see what I got up to Sat evening (hanging my head in shame) now sorry folk that is a lie, still haven't stopped laughing. Forgot to tell Georgie I made my sister-in-law   go out in the garden with me. about 2.30am. to look at plants.. She just started saying "Don't bend down" too late....I fell over but no plants were damaged. What a way for a 71(today)year old to behave ??? ??? ??? Lorna.
