Am feeling proud this morning as the community lotty I help out on has just won the East Midlands in Bloom Food for All Award.  It's awarded by the RHS with B & Q and WE WON IT  ;D ;D

my carrots were beeyootiful...me spuds looked perfick...me '1flower 1 veg'surpassed description.well,if you couldnt think how to describe a sunflower and a n aubergine that is....

i tell you-i wouldnt have won a 1st 2nd or 3rd if i'd only been one of three entrants,i'd printed the certificates ,and if i'd owned the village hall....in fact-i wouldnt have won if i'd been one of the judges!!!!!!! ;D
mind you it was worth getting up at some ungodly hour to choose which carrots i was taking just to see the mist rising in front of the woods  and scape the ice off me spade! ;D
the gardeners wot won deserved every last certificate and big shiny trophy-lovely lovely veg there.....
and theres always next year! ;D
