Butternut and Carrot puree.
Great with roast dinner! You need approx same amount of veg.
Peel carrots cut into chunks. Cut squash in 1/2, remove seeds with a spoon, and cut into chunks. Simmer carrot for about 10 mins in small amount of water with lid on, then add squash, cook them until soft.
Puree, add cream, butter and nutmeg, s& P all to taste. Serve.
Thanks for that DP. It's very kind of you to help me :) I have got some whole nutmeg which I bought for my pumpkin soup. I'd not thought of a puree so thanks very much. It sounds lovely :)
